For the Deepavali festival, reservations in the Tambaram-Nagercoil express train started!!

With Deepavali festival fast approaching, the pre booking for Tambaram -Nagercoil train has begun now. It is well known that for Deepavali festival many go to their hometowns to celebrate the festival with their families and relatives, friends etc.
To help the public go to their native places without any problem, a special train would run from Tambaram to Nagercoil and back to Tambaram. For 4 days on November 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th Sundays, the special train would operate between Chennai Tambaram and Nagercoil. It must be noted that this special train 06012 would depart Nagercoil at 4:35 pm and would reach Tambaram at 4:10 am the next day.
In the same manner, a special train would run for 4 days (every Monday) on November 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th. The train would leave Tambaram at 8:05 am. The reservations for this train began yesterday at 8am. It is worth mentioning here that a special train was expected to run from Tambaram before Deepavali for the sake of the public. Information is that the special train would be operated 5 days before Deepavali festival that is on 6th of November and on 13th of November. This has disappointed many south bound passengers.
