On Monday, City Police Commissioner Sandeep Rai Rathore was appointed as the Director General of Police (Training) at the Police Training College, Chennai, and the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) at the Tamil Nadu Police Academy.
Additional DGP (Law and Order) A Arun has been named the new Commissioner of Police, as announced by P Amudha, the principal secretary to the government.
S Davidson Devasirvatham, the ADGP, Headquarters, Chennai, and former ADGP, Intelligence, will now assume the role of Additional Director General of Police - Law and Order.
