Heavy Rain Expected Tonight in Chennai and Surrounding Areas
The Tamil Nadu Weatherman has predicted heavy rainfall for Chennai and the surrounding areas, with showers anticipated to begin tonight and continue into tomorrow morning. The weather update indicates that clouds from the Pondicherry and Cuddalore regions are gradually shifting towards Chennai, setting the stage for a rainy night.
The region known as KTCC (Kanchipuram, Tiruvallur, Chennai, and Chengalpattu) is expected to experience intense rainfall during the night-to-morning period, making it advisable for residents to stay prepared for possible heavy downpours.
Other parts of Tamil Nadu have also witnessed significant rain activity. Coimbatore recorded yet another rainy evening, contributing to what has already been one of the wettest months for the district this year. Meanwhile, storm activity is building up again over the Madurai and Sivagangai regions.
