Chennai Metro Rail Service Update: Schedule and Safety Advisory
The Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) has announced its service hours and schedules amid recent weather conditions. The metro services will operate from 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM, with the first train departing from all terminals at 5:00 AM and the last train at 11:00 PM.
Current Metro Service Schedules:
- Green Line: From Puratchi Thalaivar Dr. M.G. Ramachandran Central Metro to St. Thomas Mount Metro – Every 5 minutes.
- Blue Line: From Airport to Wimco Nagar Depot – Every 6 minutes.
- Between Washermenpet Metro & Arignar Alandur Metro: Every 3 minutes.
Passengers are advised against halting vehicles at Koyambedu Metro, St. Thomas Mount, Arumbakkam Metro stations, and other parking areas prone to water stagnation today. These advisories will remain in effect based on ongoing weather conditions.
