Chennai Metro Offers Sponsored Rides for "HipHop Tamizha Return Of The Dragon Machi!" Concert
Chennai Metro Rail (CMRL) is teaming up with GSS Torque Entertainment LLP to offer exclusive sponsored Metro passes for the "HipHop Tamizha Return Of The Dragon Machi!" concert, happening on 19th October at YMCA, Nandanam. Concert attendees who have booked their tickets via Paytm will receive digital Metro passes, enabling a hassle-free round-trip journey to Nandanam Metro Station, located near the event venue.
These special passes will allow passengers to access the Metro with a unique QR code, which can be scanned at the Automatic Gates for smooth entry and exit. The pass covers one round trip, permitting two entries and two exits, providing an easy and cashless travel option for concert-goers.
To accommodate the concert schedule, the last train from Nandanam will depart at 00:15 Hrs. towards WimcoNagar Depot and 00:30 Hrs. towards the Airport. Passengers heading to Green Line stations can change trains at Chennai Central Metro Station. Entry to Nandanam Metro Station will be restricted to within 10 minutes before the respective train departures.
This initiative is part of CMRL`s ongoing commitment to enhancing public transport experiences, promoting sustainable travel, and reducing traffic congestion in Chennai.
