Sudden measure by Chennai Corporation

Various mansions, hotels, guesthouses and service apartments in Chennai city that do not follow the necessary safety measures would be shut down very soon. The Chennai Corporation has planned to seal all such places during their major drive. Circulars are already distributed to over fifteen zonal officers requesting them to take the required steps.
This immediate move is due to the concerns that were discussed during the recent meeting by the corporation council. The main factor is the unhygienic food served at these places.
