National level seminar and workshop on solar batteries to be organised by Anna University and Pachaiyappa College!!
Recently, Anna University or AU made news for the wrong reason. Now comes a superb piece of news regarding AU!!
To explore solar energy and battery solutions, Anna University of Chennai would join hands with the department of Chemistry belonging to Pachaiyappa College of Chennai and conduct a meeting. This meeting would take place on 21st of January 2025.
There have been routine reports about the power cuts across India and this seminar cum workshop has come against this backdrop. As per some reports, the power cuts have become a daily routine.
It was later brought out by a senior professor belonging to AU that many experts with hands-on experience would take part in the upcoming seminar or meeting and would discuss various ways of exploring solar energy and battery solutions.
The senior professor later spoke about the presence of 2 types of solar batteries like lead acid and lithium ion. There would be continuous power supply and energy storage etc by using these 2 batteries. The dependence on grid power would be slowed down.
Eco-friendly solar batteries:
The sensational piece of information is that the solar batteries would be eco-friendly and it would be for long term investment. Both the central as well as the state government have been encouraging the use of solar batteries. At the meeting, the experts would explain solar power benefits and it could be the answer for power cuts across India.
Ongoing research and innovations regarding solar energy would also be brought to light by the experts. Importance would be given to the efficiency, long standing value, less maintenance and cost effectiveness etc.

In this seminar, the experts would share valuable information about jobs that would be available in the solar energy field.
