For his superb services to UK-India business relations, Tata Sons Chairman Mr. N. Chandrasekaran has been conferred with knighthood by the United Kingdom or UK. This was mentioned by the Tata group on Friday.
It is learnt that Mr. N. Chandrasekaran has been conferred with The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (Civil Division)- honorary DBE/KBE.
The Tata Group in X post has mentioned that Mr. N. Chandrasekaran has received an honorary Knighthood by his Majesty King Charles for his services to UK-India business relations.
Mr. N. Chandrasekaran spoke about how he was deeply humbled by this Knighthood. He added that Tata Group has been maintaining a strong strategic relationship with the UK across technology, consumer, hospitality, steel, chemicals and automotive sectors etc.
It is noteworthy that more than 70000 persons have been employed by the Tata group in the UK. The Tata Group has been having fruitful and world class academic and research partnerships with wonderful institutions in the UK.

Mr. Natarajan Chandrasekaran is the chairman of Tata Group and Tata Sons and he was born in Namakkal in Tamil Nadu in 1963. He did his under-graduation in applied sciences from Coimbatore Institute of Technology or CIT and MCA or Masters from Regional Engineering College or REC Trichy. In 1987, he joined Tata Consultancy Services or TCS and in 2015 he was nominated as the chairman of India IT industry body NASSCOM. It is noteworthy that with his hard work and dedication he became CEO in 2009.
