348 new toilets across Chennai city

The Chennai Corporation has decided to construct 348 new toilets across the city. This project will be handed over to private players. They will take care of the construction and maintenance works for the next seven years. These will be available for the public free of cost.
The civic body has invited bids from companies for making large advertisements in the space. It is to be noted that in the past, enough bids for advertisements were lacking.
