Spell of rain cools down Chennaites

Several parts of the city received short spells of shower late on Wednesday, bringing down the night temperature. Power supply was disrupted at some places.
Purasawalkam, Kilpauk and surrounding areas got moderate rains around 10.30pm. Ambattur residents complained of power cuts after gusty winds and a heavy spell of rain.
