Awareness drive by RPF

It is a very common for anyone to notice youngsters clicking to take pictures on the foot over bridge that is in front of the Central railway station. Speaking to a youngster, he says he has never used the bridge until he was persuaded to do so by a Railway Protection Force. He said the bridge gives a better and a completely new view of the station.
He is just one among the commuters who have never used the bridge set up for the convenience of commuters by Chennai Metro Rail Limited. Owing to these reasons, there was an awareness drive by the RPF to make large number of commuters using it.
A senior RPF official shared his views saying, “People get hit by bike or they get narrowly escaped from getting run over by bus just because of not using the bridge.” People also say that beggars use the bridge for night sleep.
