GH to offer vocational training for people with epilepsy

Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital has begun a vocational training programme for people with epilepsy.The programme, which will teach baking, will be held every two months, and five persons will be given the training free of cost. Classes will be held thrice a week and there will be 24 classes in all.
 
A certificate will be given after the training is completed and help with employment will also be provided.. The classes will use an electric oven, eliminating fire hazard.
 
The programme is supported by the Indian Epilepsy Association, Chennai. The hospital is also trying to get sponsors for ovens for learners to use at homes.
