Actions initiated to give licences to new industries!

An analytical meeting was held by the Industrial Safety & Health Forum at the Royappettah Industrial Safety & Health Centre.

Minister Mohan presided over the meeting.

Active steps must be taken to ensure the industrial growth in Tamil Nadu by processing and issuing licensed for starting new industry without any delay by keeping them pending or due to any other reasons.

Corrective steps must be immediately taken to analyse wherever licences applied have not been given.  Companies which have closed must be removed for the register. Risky ventures should be identified quickly and reported in the proper format.

Special care must be taken to checks on the child labour and related accidents.

Analysis must be of high quality. Every analysis must ensure safety of employees and other associated factors such as health, cleanliness, ventilation, toilet faculties and maintenance on the waste products.

Actions must be taken to ensure that the individuals who are getting permanent appointments are given all the allowances and entitlements.

Suggestions must be given to the employers to ensure that the employees get more than the minimum prescribed salaries.

All facilities must be ensured for the employees in the field of construction business.

Every construction employee must be made to join the construction employees welfare board as members.

Any industrial related ailments must be detected with the help of the company officials and medical experts and a report must be sent to the Medical Officer.

 Also, the sending of daily reports must be completed without any failure or delay.
