Increasing complaints about cylinder delivery

There are increasing number of complaints that gas agencies fail to deliver cylinders to the public who are not registered under government’s direct subsidy scheme.

The direct subsidy scheme was launched in India by the beginning of this year. People are increasing in numbers to get their names enrolled for the scheme. So far, about  lakh individuals have got their names registered with this. For those who get enrolled before June of this year will be eligible to receive subsidy for the previous month before June, however the same will not be provided to those who enroll after June.

Though people are free to register themselves for this scheme whenever they need, gas agencies seem to play the game making troubles with deliveries for those who are not registered yet. Complaints about this are increasing in the recent days.
