Feasibility reports for a proposed skywalk approved by Chennai Corporation

Feasibility reports for a proposed skywalk linking Mambalam suburban railway station and T Nagar bus depot and another connecting the Fort station and Parry`s Corner has been approved by Chennai Corporation.
 
An L-shaped skywalk (600m) will allow commuters to walk from T Nagar bus depot towards Madley subway and take a 90-degree right turn to the Mambalam railway station. The Chennai Corporation is also planning a T shaped skywalk (1.8km) connecting Fort railway station and Broadway terminus. The one arm of the skywalk would go from Fort station to NSC Bose Road, and another arm would extend from Broadway terminus to Chennai Beach railway station. There would be seven entry and exit points on the skywalk at Broadway. The one at T Nagar will have four entry and exit points.
