Koyambedu Wholesale Vegetable Market: 1 kg drumstick sold at Rs. 25/-!

The price of drumstick has come down. In the Koyambedu wholesale vegetable market, drumstick is being sold at Rs. 25/- per kg.
It is a surprise considering the price of drumstick last week was Rs. 150/-!
1 kg of tomato which was sold at Rs. 20/- last week is now sold at Rs. 10/- per kg.
The prices of vegetables like cabbage & cauliflower have also reduced considerably and cost Rs. 10/- per kg which is an unprecedented low price! Small onions (sambar onions) which sold at Rs. 35/- to Rs. 40/- last week, is now sold at Rs. 25/- per kg.
Large onion is sold at Rs. 18/- to Rs. 20/- per kg.
All other vegetables are also sold at a price cheaper by Rs. 5/- to Rs. 10/- per kg.
