The prices of beans and broad beans at the Koyambedu wholesale market have slightly gone up.

The drumsticks which were sold at the rate of Rs 150 during the last week of February are now being sold for Rs 20 per kilo.

Last week potatoes, tomatoes and onions arrived in large numbers at Koyambedu wholesale market. Because of this, the prices of vegetable came down drastically.

At this juncture, the inflow of vegetables at Koyambedu market have come down, hence the prices of vegetables were increased between Rs 5 to Rs 12 per kilo. People are complaining that retailers are selling the vegetables at a very high price even though the price in the wholesale market is low.
