Chennaites to get Krishna water from Tamil New Year Day

No there will be relief for Chennaites since Andhra Pradesh will be releasing Krishna river water from April 10th.
AP irrigation principal secretary Adityanath Das said that they will resume the supply from April 10 and the remaining quantum of water meant to be released, as per the agreement, will be supplied.
The water will reach the city by April 14 as the water takes four days to cover the 153km distance from Kandaleru reservoir in Andhra Pradesh to Uthukottai on the Tamil Nadu border.
