Changes in energy consumption records routine in Tambaram Region

TANGEDCO has made a recent news release: In the energy consumption calculation procedure in Chembakkam Section Office under Tambaram Region, there are 7243 connections for all ‘Odd month’ payments and 11179 connections for all ‘Even month’ payments.
As the current procedures has some differences. In order to provide 2 equal sections and regularisation, the following areas are being shifted from ‘even month’ payment to ‘odd month’ payment:
- Chitalapakkam Main Road, Shanthi Avenue, Bala Avenue (Sector 273-301)
- Kaveri street, Sangam Street, Gomathy Nagar, Godavari Street (Sector 273-107)
- Geethalaya Apartments, Metro Apartments, Rani Residency (Sector 273-107)
- Jayenmdra nagar (Sector 273-131)
The residents in these areas are requested to pay Electricity Charges for the months of August & September.
