Metro waters revenue up!

Chennai Metro water has registered an increase of Rs.76 crore in its revenue through water and sewerage tax and charges collection during 2014-15 as compared to the previous year.
Metro water collected Rs.470 crore for the year, against Rs.394 crore in 2013-14. Nearly 71 per cent of the demand raised has been collected this year.
Metro water honored 217 officials and staff members with certificates and prizes on Tuesday for achieving a better revenue collection than previous year, a press release said.
