Contributions to flood relief crosses Rs. 300 crore

A report has said that contributions to the Tamil Nadu government`s flood relief fund has crossed Rs. 300 crore. Several corporates and film industry personnel have contributed Rs. 17.10 crore last week.
In the past week, ICICI Bank contributed Rs. 10 crore, Hinduja Group, which is based in Chennai, handed over Rs. 3 crore, Amalgamations Pvt. Ltd. handed over Rs. 1 crore and A. Krishnamoorthy handed over Rs. 2 crore.
The South Indian Artists Association that represents the film industry contributed Rs. 1.10 crore.
An official release said that with these, the State has received a total of Rs. 303.90 crore in contributions.
