Chief Minister Jayalalithaa on Monday launched Total Solution Project that offers a host of online services to traders, including registration, e-filing of returns, including revisions, cancellation of registrations and e-payment through net banking, among others.
The Rs. 179.98-crore project focuses on the needs of traders (through e-CTAX) and also to improve service delivery of the Commercial Tax Department.

Registration of documents and other services, including details sought by traders and department announcements, will all be available online. The objective is to make traders finish all their transactions online, without having to visit the department`s offices. Arrangements have also been made for online application by traders to get refunds. Further, steps have also been made for online data entry for fast-track clearance at check-posts.
A toll free helpline 1800 103 6571 has also been launched by the Department for traders to get details and share grievances.
