7 Mobile Voters Service centres to be set up in Chennai

Activities for the arrangements for ensuing Tamil Nadu Assembly election are progressing in full swing.

The task of addition, deletion, & correction of Voters names has been taken by setting up Voters Service Centres in respective wards.

In this effort for preparation for the elections, Election Commission has ordered setting up of mobile Voters Service Centres.

Accordingly, Mobile Voters Service centres are being set up in Chennai Metro City.

As linked with the constituency & the Corporation wards, these mobile Voters Service centres have been set up at Thiru Vi Ka Nagar, Tondiarpet, Rayapuram, Anna Nagar, Teynampet, Kodambakkam, and Adyar and already functioning.

These mobile Voters Service Centres are set up in public places. The voters can check whether their names are included and confirm the same.

Also, the voters can avail the services of addition/deletion of voters names.

These mobile Voters Service Centres are operating under the control of Additional District Election Officer Aashiya Mariam.

The election commission officials have informed that mobile voters centres will be shortly set up in all the 16 Assembly Constituencies of Chennai Metro City.
