Local people including Indian and foreign tourists throng to this temple shore. Earlier Rs 10 was charged as entry fee and Rs 250 for foreign tourists.

The rate which was fixed in 1966 was decided to be hiked by the Central Government. Accordingly the entry fees have been increased by three times.
