Tamil Nadu BSNL offers to customers

N Poonguzhali, Chief General Manager, BSNL Tamil Nadu Circle, has mentioned: Last financial year, BSNL Tamil Nadu circle earned an operating profit of Rs 82.31 crore as against Rs 51.39 crore in the previous year. Revenue saw a 3 per cent growth to Rs 2,055 crore. In the first quarter this year, the circle has reported a 3.8 per cent growth in revenue to Rs 480 crore. 

BSNL had introduced free night calls from 9 pm to 7 am to any network for landline customers. In addition, from August 15, it has announced Sunday Unlimited Free calling from BSNL landline to any network across the country. This will enable landline customers to continuously stay in touch with their friends and relatives for 34 hours - from Saturday 9 pm to Monday 7 am.The other major initiatives include a new landline scheme for Rs 49 per month as fixed monthly charge for a limited period of three months with no installation charges and upward revision of download speed after Fair Usage Plan. 

As part of its Meet and Greet Nalandhaana (Are you fine? in English) programme launched on July 1, officials have met nearly 50,000 customers across the circle - Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, excluding Chennai, Tiruvallur and Kancheepuram.
