Extension up to 14th November to pay Electricity bills

TANGEDCO has announced that an extension of 3 more days has been given to pay the electricity bills.
The new declaration by the central government about Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes rendered invalid has come into effect. Because of the money circulation among the public has been greatly affected. There have been difficulties in getting payments from ATMs and Banks. As there is an acute shortage of change, the public encountered hardships in paying the electricity bills.
In this scenario, TANGEDCO has ordered an extension of date for paying electricity bills up to 14th November. It has also announced that the payments can be made through the old Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 currency notes.
