Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, J. Jayalalitha is shifted from general ward to Intensive Care Unit yet again.

Due to unforeseen physical illness, the CM got admitted in Apollo Hospitals, Greams Road, Chennai on 22nd September 2016. As per the consultation and suggestions given by the doctors from UK and AIIMS hospitals, special treatments have been given to the CM. Jayalalitha had also been undergoing physiotherapy treatment given by lady physiotherapist from Mount Elizabeth Hospitals, Singapore.

Following these, the CM had started breathing on her own without any trouble and the ventilator was removed. However, the tracheotomy was not removed and continued to be in use as fixed in her throat.

In this course of treatment, Jayalalitha’s physical condition showed good improvement and hence, she was shifted from ICU to separate VIP ward.

However, now, as she needs ventilator facility to breath with artificial assistance, the CM is yet again transferred to Intensive Care Unit and treatment is being given continuously.

We shall all hope and pray for her good health and speedy recovery.
