ATM cards for Central Cooperative bank customers, RuPay Debit cards for farmers

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, E. Palanisamy, distributed ATM cards to the Central Cooperative bank customers and RuPay debit cards to the farmers.
From the year 2012, the cooperative banks provide all services similar to all other banks in the state regarding core bank services.
In the next phase, ATM cards were distributed by the state Chief Minister for the benefit of the 19 Lakh customers of the state central cooperative banks. Further, RuPay cards were distributed to the 1.56 Lakhs farmers who have opened accounts in central cooperative banks to avail agricultural loans.
He also inaugurated the new 40 ATMs set up by the 23 state central cooperative banks to provide ATM services for other bank card holders as well the state central cooperative bank card holders.
With this ATM and card facilities, the state central cooperative bank customers and farmers with the RuPay debit cards can do financial transactions in all ATMs throughout the country.
