HCCB donates 4 Tri-cycles to Nemam Panchayat

Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt. Ltd., (HCCB) located at Nemam Panchayat in Thiruvallur District, as a part of its CSR initiative dedicated 4 Garbage Collecting Tri-cycles to the Panchayat for effective execution of Solid Waste Management in the locality & surrounding Panchayats. Mrs. P. Jothi, Block Development Officer – Poonamallee Block and Dr. Leena, Medical Officer, Primary Health Centre, Nemam, were present during the function.
15 of the Panchayat workers were taken to the ‘Resource Recovery Park’ remarkably maintained by Hand in Hand NGO at Sriperumbudur. The workers were trained on Waste Collection, segregation and vermicompost by HCCB in association with Thooimai Kaavalargal NGO. Awareness Campaign posters and pamphlets containing information about environmental hygiene were also distributed to the Nemam Primary Health Centre during the occasion.
