Education and Personal Loan mela for minorities on 12th July

The Chennai District Collector (in charge) Sangeetha has announced that the individuals who are interested in getting personal loans or education loans under the Minorities Economic Development Corporation can participate in the loan camp to be organised at the collector Office on 12th July.

Assistance and help are offered to the minorities under the Minorities Economic Development Corporation  An event offering loans on behalf of this corporation are being organised on 12th July from 10.00 AM to 4.00 PM at the Chennai District Collector Office. Separate applications must be submitted for each loan application.

For Education Loan, Caste certificate or School Transfer Certificate, Income Certificate, Residence Proof, and copies of mark certificates (bonafide) receipt for the fees paid and also other documents as demanded by the bank.

For the personal loan, loans are given for retail selling, handicrafts or traditional skills, job/service centres, light commercial vehicles (LCV), and agriculture-related loans and for personal development are given.

In order to receive these loans, the individuals must be a resident of Tamil Nadu belonging to either Christianity, Islam, Sikhism, or Parsi societies. The annual income of the parents/guardians should not exceed Rs. 1.3 Lakhs. The candidate must have completed 18 years of age. Only one person per family will be given a loan.

The interested individuals may participate in the loan mela to be held on 12th July at the District Collector Office, Chennai.
