TN bus fare hiked: Extent of rise to different places

The state government of Tamil Nadu released a sudden order increasing the bus fares yesterday (Friday, 19th January). This comes into effect from today (Saturday, 20th January).
Here are some details regarding the bus fare increase to different places:
Within Chennai
- Ordinary buses- from Rs.6 up to Rs. 25
- Express buses – from Rs. 9 to Rs. 37
- Deluxe buses – from Rs. 13 to Rs. 51
- Night buses – from Rs. 11 to Rs. 49
- Volvo buses – from Rs. 28 to Rs. 159
From Chennai to Other places
- TN government Express buses to Madurai – from Rs. 325 to Rs. 510
- TN government Express buses to Kanyakumari – from Rs. 505 to Rs. 755
- TN government Express buses to Tirunelveli – increased from Rs 440 to Rs. 664
- To Thiruvannamalai – from Rs. 150 to Rs. 206.
- To Puducherry – from Rs. 125 to Rs. 196
- To Karaikkudi – from Rs. 300 to Rs. 480
- To Hosur – from Rs. 225 to Rs. 350
- To Kumbakonam – from Rs. 215 to Rs. 345
- To Salem – from Rs. 240 to Rs. 383
