The organizers of the 3-day Tourism Trade Fair to be conducted in Chennai informed that there would be a trade worth Rs. 3000 Crores during the fair.
A 3-day tourism fair is organized by joint efforts of the Confederation of Indian Industries, Tamil Nadu Travel Mart, and Medical Value Travel Mart at the Chennai Nandambakkam Trade Fair complex from 20th September to 22nd September.
In this regard, the Tamil Nadu President of CII (Confederation of Indian Industries) S. Chandramohan, the founder and the proprietor of ‘Tamil Nadu Travel Mart’, T. Natarajan, and the coordinator of the ‘Medical Value Travel Mart’ Dr. S. Cjandrakumar, and the CII Tourism Section coordinator Lissi George shared:
‘The 2nd edition of the Tourism Fair is set to be conducted in Chennai jointly by CII and Tamil Nadu Travel Mart. The 1st edition was conducted in the year 2017. This tourism fair is organized once in 2 years.
In the 1st edition, a trade of Rs. 1800 Crores materialized.
In the fair scheduled this year 2019, 200 exhibitors are participating, both local and international level.
We expect this fair would materialize in trade worth Rs. 3000 Crores.
Further, the details/information about the tourist spots in Tamil Nadu which have not been that popular will be displayed in this tourism fair.
The Tamil Nadu State Government Ministers are set to inaugurate this tourism fair.
