Many in the Chennai city would be struck at their homes due to Coronavirus pandemic and they would be missing the 5-star restaurants such as Peshawari of ITC Grand Chola, Paprika cafe of Marriott etc. They need not worry now.
By just dialing the phone number, the Chennaites would be able to get their favourite foods at their doorsteps. It is now mentioned that the luxury hotels are offering take away options for food from their favourite restaurants. By this, the luxury loving Chennai residents would be able to enjoy their dinners by sitting at their homes itself.
The customers are already rooting for this new experience of having food from 5-star hotels of Chennai. Jewellery designer, Minnie Menon expressed her happiness about this home delivery from popular restaurants in Chennai. She spoke about how there would be assurance of sanitation and safety by eating foods from luxury hotels at the homes.
Now, many star hotels in Chennai have been offering the home services and the bill varies from Rs 1200 for a meal for two persons to above Rs 5000 and it depends on the type of food ordered.
This idea was not accepted by the Chenanites in the beginning of the lockdown but now the home delivery business has increased. It is now brought out that the hotels are offering customised menus for their clientele. The eco -friendly packaging of foods delivered at the homes from these star hotels in Chennai has made many customers happy.
As per the chief executive, Mr. Muthukumar, of ibis Chennai, it was clear that the hotels are also offering menus suited for the kids and for those who are more health concerned. He hinted about the demand for items like burgers, kebabs, pastas etc. He pointed out that normally more orders would be received on the weekends.
