Reason for the Chennai residents to buy second home revealed now

Who would not like to have a second home?
The preference for buying a second home has increased now among the Chennai residents.
It has been brought to light by a recent survey that 55% of Chennai residents want to buy a second home and the reason for that was due to the harsh lessons that were learnt in the Coronavirus pandemic.
It is well known that due to the Coronavirus pandemic schools, offices etc were closed and work from home and study from home has been going on. On Wednesday, Knight Frank India or KFI released The India Buyer Survey 2021- Living in The Times of Covid-19 and it brought out the mood of Chennai residents in the pandemic where school sessions, office works plus household chores were all done under one roof. As per the senior director of TN and Kerala, KFI, Mr, Srinivas Anikipaati it was clear that due to space constraints the Chennai residents were eager to buy another home.
The expectation of Chennaites regarding increase in the prices was also highlighted in the survey that was conducted by KFI. It must be noted that three fourths of Chennaites were of the opinion that the value of their primary residence would increase in another 12 months of time.
The queries regarding buying second homes have become more after the second Coronavirus infection wave in Chennai. Point is that the conversion rate has increased to 60percent now. Buying property is being given more importance now as life and jobs have become uncertain. This was as per Mr Srinivas of KFI.
