It is known that at the Chennai airport there is now a daily footfall of about 40000 and most of them are Tamil language speaking persons. The passengers were in a state of shock when they saw the LED boards showing details regarding the flights in Hindi. The passengers at the airport mentioned that the LED boards displayed the details about the flights only in Hindi language.
Other languages like English and Tamil are being skipped at the Chennai airport and this has been making many passengers angry. It was brought out by some sources that Tamil language is being skipped at midnight at the airport.
On social media platforms, many passengers shared the incident of Tamil language being used at the airport. They had revealed that they did not have any idea about the exit as the display board was in Hindi language. Truth is that about 75% of passengers who visit the Chennai airport are Tamil speaking persons from TN and not everyone knows Hindi language. The passengers want the issue to be sorted out by the Airport Authority of India or AAI. It must be recalled that a few years ago the same incident took place at the airport and it was sorted out later.
