Know about this superb Ride for a Cause that happened in Chennai?

On Sunday, 18th December 2022, MGM Cancer Institute joined hands with the TI Cycles for a noble cause.
A Cyclathon tited `Ride for a Cause` was organised by them and it took place from TI Cycles of India Ambattur to MGM Cancer Institute in Nelson Manickam Road in Aminjikarai in Chennai. This caught the attention of many. The cyclathon was flagged by ACPAmbattur range Mr. E. Kanagaraj of Avadi police commissionerate.
Other important persons who made their presence felt during the event were Mr. Joseph Premraj, associate vice-president, admin and CSR Head at Murugappa Group, Dr. M.A. Raja, senior consultant, medical oncology, director of Oncology services at MGM Healthcare etc.
The cyclathon witnessed more than 200 participants and the main objective behind this was to increase awareness on cancer. The cyclists showcased their sporting skills and they carried messages about cancer awareness. Information collected is that MGM Healthcare would soon be launching an exclusive institute for cancer in Chennai. By this event, the fear associated with cancer among the public would be removed. He hoped that the patients would be able to go through the cancer journey in a smooth manner.
