Opening of a restaurant & Quick Bites etc at Vandalur Zoo in Chennai!!

Recently, TTDC or Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation renovated a restaurant in Vandalur zoo in Chennai. Yesterday, this renovated restaurant here was inaugurated by Mr. TN. Anbarasan, minister for MSME. On the Vandalur zoo premises, the minister also opened 2 kiosks named Quick Bites. This has caught the attention of many now.
The visitors to this highly famous zoo would be surprised by the cool interiors,soft lighting, neatly arranged seats etc here. It would be a perfect place for refreshments for them. An amount of RS 42 lakhs were spent to renovate the restaurant and Rs 15 lakhs each for setting up of the kiosks.
It is learnt that TTDC has embarked on a plan to improve the ambience and food in the restaurants. This was revealed by Mr. B. Chandra Mohan, secretary for tourism.
Others who made their presence felt were Mr. M. Mathivendan, minister for forests, Mr. Sandeep Nandhuri, MD of TTDC, Mr. Srinivas Redy, director of zoo etc.
