Childrens Park and Vandalur Zoo etc in Chennai gearing up for this Pongal festival !!

During the vacations and holidays, people usually visit places for relaxation like Guindy based Childrens Park and Vandalur based Arignar Anna Zoo etc. There are many from even the neighbouring districts who come to these places with their families and friends.
It is now revealed that in Vandalur Zoo there will be 20 extra ticket counters with card payment facilities plus a special counter for online ticketing etc. This zoo would remain open on 17th of January 2023. With the help of police personnel, screening of the items and the visitors would be carried out in this zoo. Additional arrangements have been made near Crescent College in Vandalur for parking of the vehicles. Point is that for easy commuting 7 mini buses and zoo vehicles have been arranged from the parking space till the entrance. Information is that an additional 150 MTC buses would operate on the Vandalur route.
Chlidrens would be taken care of very well and to their wrists would be tied a tag with the mobile number of their parents. This would identify them if they go missing etc. At regular intervals, announcements about the things to be done and not to be done would be made. There would be wheelchairs available for the differently able persons and elders at this zoo. On 16th and 17th january, 2 help desks (both medical and general) would be set up. Fifteen bio-toilets would be installed in this vandalur zoo and ambulances would be there also to help the visitors during emergencies.
Superb arrangements are also made now at Children`s Park in Guindy for the Pongal season.The visitors would be able to enter and exit this park smoothly. It must be noted that neat parking has been arranged for the visitors. To provide medical emergencies and first aid etc, 15 more people have been added now.
