Vandalur Zoo and Guindy Childrens Park to Remain Open for Visitors Today

The Vandalur Zoo and Guindy Children`s Park near Chennai will remain open today (May 2), announced the forest department. These popular destinations are home to 2,500 wild animals across 180 different species, and they attract a large number of visitors daily.
With more than 4,000 visitors frequenting the park every day, and parents taking their children to Guindy Children`s Park in large numbers, it is a major entertainment destination for residents of Chennai and its suburbs. Although the parks are usually closed on Tuesdays for maintenance, due to the ongoing summer vacation for school children, the forest department has decided to keep the parks open on this Tuesday.
