Transit passengers at Chennai airport can feel happy & relieved now by the superb decision from AAI!!

The domestic transit passengers at the Chennai airport could feel delighted as their travel time would be reduced hereafter!!
The Domestic Transfer facility at the airport could be utilized by the transit passengers hereafter. By this, the connectivity time would get reduced. Point is that these domestic transit passengers would be able to directly reach the departure terminal from the arrival terminal.
It must be recalled that previously the domestic passengers would needed to travel as transit passengers from the Chennai airport would need to exit from the arrival terminal and then enter the departure terminal at the airport in Chennai. It is true that passengers were annoyed as it took more time for them and it confused many passengers who were visiting the airport for the first time
Requests have been made to AAI by many passengers to allow the transit passengers to the departure terminal directly from the arrival in the way similar to the VIP passengers.
After many requests from the passengers, AAI has made it clear that the domestic transit passengers would be able to use the Domestic Transfer facility or D to D to go directly from arrival to the departure terminal from now on.
