Southern Railway Announces Unreserved MEMU Express Puja Special Between Tambaram and Thanjavur
In anticipation of the Puja festivities and to cater to the increased passenger demand, Southern Railway has announced the operation of a pair of special unreserved MEMU Express trains between Tambaram and Thanjavur. The details of the trains are as follows:
Train No. 06007/06008 Tambaram – Thanjavur – Tambaram MEMU Unreserved Express Specials:
- Train No. 06007 (Tambaram to Thanjavur) will depart from Tambaram at 00.15 hrs on Friday, 11th October 2024 (midnight of 10th October), and is scheduled to arrive in Thanjavur at 06.50 hrs the same day.
- Train No. 06008 (Thanjavur to Tambaram) will leave Thanjavur at 23.55 hrs on Friday, 11th October 2024, and reach Tambaram at 07.15 hrs the next day (Saturday, 12th October 2024).
This MEMU service, comprising 12 coaches, aims to clear the extra rush of passengers during the festive season.
Passengers are requested to note the timings and plan their travel accordingly.
