6 special trains for Deepavali: Southern Railway announces

In order to manage the rush on the occasion of Deepavali festival, Southern Railway had announced that it would operate 6 special trains. Since these train reservations were full, the general public had requested Railways to operate some more trains. Now Railways have decided to operate 6 more special trains on 31st October.
On 31st October, there will be a train from Tirunelveli to Chennai Central. On the same day a superfast express will be operated from Madurai to Chennai Egmore. Similarly on 1st November, trains from Chennai Central- Tirunelveli , Chennai- Tirunelveli will be operated. On 4th November a train from Tirunelveli to Chennai Egmore will be operated. On 1st and 4th November, trains from Chennai Central- Coimbatore and back will be operated. Advanced reservations for these trains will commence from Thursday.
