25 Coin vending machines installed

Indian Bank has installed coin vending machines at Chennai Port, Central Station, Koyambedu , and 23 other places on Wednesday.
Public has been experiencing shortage of change in the form of coins. These CVM`s have been installed at areas where people gather such as shopping areas, temples, railway stations, and major bus stops.
Central Station, Egmore, CMDA Head Office, Koyambdeu, Manali, padi, Aavadi, Perambur Market, Valasarawakkam, Mugappair, Anna Nagar, Chetpet, Chennai Port, Triplicane, Purasawalkam, Adyar, Ashok Nagar, Tambaram West, Pallavaram, Guindy, Madippakkam, Rajakeezhpakkam, Alwarpet, Mylapore, and T Nagar are some of the laces where these are installed and opened on Wednesday.
If a Rs. 100 note or notes of lesser denomination are inserted, the equivalent change will be given out in the form of Rs.1, Rs. 2, and Rs. 5 coins.
