Expansion plans for electronic data management throughout Tamil Nadu!

The state government of Tamil Nadu has planned to integrate the electronic data management in Tamil Nadu.

Employing the hi-tech information technology, individual personal details such as Aadhar card number, names, addresses, etc would be integrated to facilitate several on-line services like issue of government certificates.

The project is scheduled to get completed in all district during the next financial year.

A special committee under the chief secretary of the state department of information technology has been formed to select the software agency which would be responsible for implementing the project.

Once completed, all the state government employees will be given a digital address and a secret code number.

Apart from the issue of birth/death certificates and  legal documents of proof , other documents such as salary income certificate, caste certificate, etc will also be issued on-line.

Mobile phone Apps facility can also be used to access on the internet the data pertaining to issue government information, obtaining certificates, etc.
