Heavy rains expected in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry

The Meteorological Centre has mentioned that there will be heavy rains in some parts of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry in the next 24 hours. One of the officials of the centre has mentioned that there were rains in some parts of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry due to convection. As far as Chennai is concerned the sky condition would be partly cloudy. Rain or thundershower may occur in some areas during evening /night. Maximum and minimum temperature would be around 36 and 27 deg Celsius respectively.
