Chief Minister announces special online arrangement for watching animals/birds in Vandalur Zoo

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha read a report today (Thursday, 11th August) in the legislative Assembly.
A brief on this report:
Vandalur Arignar Anna Zoological Park in Chennai is one of the best parks in the country. A special arrangement is being planned by installing 20 infra-red monitoring cameras in the sections where 20 important and popular species of animals are kept.
These cameras will be linked to and exclusive website.This will facilitate even the people residing in far-away places to watch the rare animals/birds online all the 24 hours.
This set-up would cost Rs. 50 Lakhs. This arrangement would also facilitate the zoo administration and security personnel to keep a watch on these animals/birds.
