Aavin supplies milk in the evening also

In order to prevent the shortage during rainy season, Aavin is supplying milk sachets to small shops and consumers in the evenings. Aavin has resorted to this keeping in mind the experience it had during the last northeast monsoon rains. Aavin has now taken steps to supply uninterrupted milk sachets to its consumers.
In connection with this an official of Aavin said: This scheme is in force for the last 8 months. In all the 15 zones of Chennai, 15 Aavin vehicles are being operated. The milk taken by these vehicles are supplied to small retail shops and consumers. Milks are supplied to Aavin parlours. Those who want milk can contact the zonal offices. Milk will be supplied to them. Currently the sales of the milk are 11.80 lakhs litres.
