Accordingly, arrangements have been made in Pattinappakakkm, Neelankarai, Kasimedu, Thiruvotriyur, and Ennore.
In a press release by the Department of Police, it is informed that permission has been granted for several outfits to immerse the idols of Lord Vinayagar today (Thursday, 31st August). The routes to be taken are clearly outlined. Elaborate arrangements have been made by the Department of Police to take care and protect the various processions for the immersion.
Because of this, traffic has been diverted in Beach Road and some important roads where the processions are likely to move. The Police Department has recommended that the travellers/passengers should plan their movement accordingly as traffic will be very heavy between 2.00 PM and 8.00 PM.
