Special train to be operated on the occasion of girivalam - Thiruvannamalai

Southern Railway has announced that a special train will be operated from Vellore to Thiruvannamalai on the special occasion of ‘girivalam’ (a devotional walk around the mountain base of the temple). A notification in this regards mentions:
‘A special train will depart from Vellore Cantonment at 9.45 PM on 8th March and reach Thiruvannamalai at 11.45 PM.
On a return basis, a special train will operate from Thiruvannamalai at 4.00 AM on 9th March and will reach Vellore Cantonment at 5.55 AM.
In order to prevent the overcrowding and onrush of devotees, the weekly special train from Trichy to Hyderabad will start at 6.05 from Trichy Station on 11th, 18th, 25th March, and 1st April.
In a similar change, the special weekly train from Ernakulam to Hyderabad will start at 9.30 PM on 12th, 19th, and 26th March.’
