Fantastic!! 75000th coach rolled out inside 75 years from ICF in Chennai!!

Yesterday, 27th June 2024 was an important day in the history of Integral Coach Factory or ICF in Chennai.
The sensational news is that ICF (established in 1955) rolled out its 75000th coach on Thursday. Point is this milestone was part of 69th rake of VB train set.
It must be remembered that ICF in the 1957-58 period rolled out just coaches per year and now it produces about 3000 coaches per year. It is really superb to note that manufacturing as many as 75000 coaches inside 75 years is an achievement by itself. The diversity in varieties and designs of coaches by ICF has been remarkable.
